This Senior Systems Analyst position will be on a dynamic team, reviewing, developing, and providing support for Combat Systems-related curricula and training systems/simulators at SCSTC Dahlgren, VA. Serco supports the US Navy and SCSTC Dahlgren developing and delivering training for US Navy combat systems. Our team maintains and manages the training programs ensuring the safety of the Sailors and to allowing them to perform their missions successfully.
You will be part of a team working closely with the customer and other Serco teams to deliver quality systems. Rick Shute [www.linkedin.com/in/rickshute] leads this team with over 35 years’ experience and is a Navy veteran.
In this role, you will:
Be involved with developing technical courses to meet training needs and delivering training to end-users
Analyze recommended changes and determine impact on system readiness and user functionality
Conducts training needs assessment, vendor selection, training system/simulator development assessment, andevaluation of training programs making changes to the curriculum and course content as appropriate
Maintain up-to-date technical resource library
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must have:
Active Secret security clearance
High School Diploma with 7 years’ experience in the design and/or maintenance of complex US Navy AEGIS Surface Combat Systems
Demonstrated experience in the analysis and evaluation of recommended changes and in determining the impact on system readiness and user functionality
Experience in reading design documents, evaluating high level interface block diagrams and evaluating innovative designs incorporating commercial equipment, part task trainer emulations and simulations to create flexible and cost-effective training and readiness capabilities
Ability to travel 10%
