Description:This position is for the Sr. Product Manager of the site's Advanced Programs for the site and is responsible for the successful execution of production, development, and transition-to-production activities across the Advanced Programs lines of business. Provides the primary strategic and executable direction, communication, and leadership to cross-functional teams to ensure the site meets/exceeds quality, cost, and schedule objectives for the business. Creates and provides structured program and product leadership to the team in support of achieving production, development, and transition-to-production requirements. The incumbent will Lead program integrated product teams (IPT) with respect to product planning, team execution, and problem resolution. Monitors, solutions, and drives team progress that yield measurable results and demonstrate operational agility. Ensures performance metrics are properly aligned across the business spectrum to maximize resource efficacy (between site operations, enterprise metrics, PMT, customer demand, MRP, LRP, and other business performance indicators). Understands cross-functional operations including material/manpower management, cost account management, planning & scheduling, SAP/MRP systems, quality management systems, and long range planning.

The Locale: Chelmsford is a charming suburb of Boston located about 25 miles northwest of the city. Chelmsford is very close to historic Lowell Massachusetts and to Nashua, New Hampshire. Chelmsford is within reach of New Hampshire's White Mountains and awesome ski areas to the north, and the scenic coastal towns of MA and NH are about an hour east. This scenic colonial region offers lots of New England charm, great schools, shopping, and restaurants. Chelmsford and the region share an impressive past from the early days after the pilgrims arrived in Plymouth to the revolutionary war. Where can you get to from Chelmsford? Chelmsford is about 90 minutes from Cape Cod. Boston is about 30 minutes to the east without traffic. New York City is about 4.5 hours away from Chelmsford. Waterville Valley and other major ski resorts of New Hampshire and Vermont are about 2 to 3 hours to the north. It should be noted that Chelmsford, Massachusetts is approximately 35 miles northwest of the Boston metropolitan area and offers better access to a wide range of substantially more affordable regions in the area to live. Those regions include Northeastern and North Central Massachusetts, and Southern, New Hampshire.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 15 or more years of professional experience
- Ability to obtain Secret security clearance (Interim required to start)
- Production Management or Program Management experience
- Leadership experience with at least two of the following product lifecycle environments (Development, Transition-to-production, LRIP, FRP)
- Strong communication and presentation experience; ability to effectively communicate to multiple organizational levels, industry peers, and internal and external customers.
- Earned Value Management Experience
Desired Skills:
- Excellent interpersonal and ability to resolve conflicting priorities with complex resource constraints
- Demonstrated experience with product affordability and digital transformation
- IPT or cross-functional leadership experience
- Control Account Manager (CAM) training and/or certification
- Proposal or Basis of Estimate (BOE) Experience
- LSS Greenbelt Certified or Blackbelt Trained
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
