The expected annual salary range for this role is $116250.03 - $170500.04 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.

Position Overview:
The Advanced Manufacturing Engineer will report directly to the Advanced Manufacturing Strategy Lead and is responsible for the execution of the "best-in-class" production processes and throughput. This role will support the Product Strategy leader in our Heritage business. This is a senior level role in the advanced manufacturing group based in Carol Stream, IL or Southfield, MI or Canton, MI.
In this function you will:
Create and/or optimize manufacturing automation, advanced manufacturing processes, improvement of processes and equipment/automation, innovation and new product launches (with accountability to insure DFA/DFM and assembly robustness in all phases.) Partner with strategy leaders to develop and drive execution of product technology roadmaps to position RPS for sustained future growth.Provide functional expertise and direction to product strategy, engineering, operations and quality leadership. Manage process flows from inception to phase out, including product launch and support; and resolves problems with existing products working across cross-functional production teams
Qualifications:
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree from accredited institutionMinimum ten (10) years' experience in high volume stamping / metal processing.Knowledge of progressive dies and multi-slide tooling or automotive eyelets and terminals.Must be able to travel 10% of the time domestically and internationally as needed and required. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship both now and in the future.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in engineering or business from an accredited institutionPrevious experience in in a manufacturing environmentStrong operational and manufacturing acumen and the ability to lead engage across businesses internally and externally.
