FirstEnergyAbout the OpportunityThe Administrative Technician is part of the HR Organizational Management team which is responsible for maintaining and updating both organizational structures and managing employee & contractor data within Empower. This position will utilize the Empower system to validate and approve changes to positions, jobs, departments, as well as process transfers, separations and other related HR organizational changes. This position ensures all changes are accurate and completed within the regulatory and SOX requirements. This position will also perform basic employee and organizational data changes, assist with keying reorganizations, and troubleshoot and resolve issues.This position will report to the Manager, HR Technology Standards & Services and can be sited at any location in the FE service territory. This position may also be remote, working from home.Responsibilities include:Maintain HR Core and Org data changes, for employees, contractors, and retirees.Update employee data timely and accurately as needed.Key organizational changes and provide guidance on practices and policies.Apply HR Data Governance practices to ensure data consistency and integrity.Ensure all compliance policies are followed for FERC, CIP and SOX.Execute HR Core reports as needed/requestedDemonstrate a willingness to question established procedures and processes.Take initiative to solve problems and bring issues to closure.Demonstrate sound customer service.Perform a variety of technical administrative assignments requiring initiative, judgment and well- developed knowledge and skills.Maintain a high degree of condentiality on projects and employee-related information.Aviation Admin Tech Responsibilities:Schedule aircraft maintenance technician (AMT) training and manage training records.Manage department Safety Data Sheets (SDS).Manage company purchase orders (POs) with maintenance vendors.Manage aircraft parts, consumables and facility supplies.Current inventory and supply roomOrdering, receiving, and shipping. Includes HazMatQuarantine partsManage jet fuel inventory pricing and ordering.Manage and process incoming invoices for aircraft maintenance, facilities, and supplies.Manage billable aircraft maintenance service plan (JSSI and MSP) invoicing.Manage completed aircraft maintenance technical records.Manage monthly reports and statements.Journal VoucherFuel flowageExpense reports and P-cardsManage contingent staff time reporting and monthly invoicing.Qualifications include:High school diploma or GED required. Associate degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline preferred.Minimum 2-7 years of related work experience is required.
