Summary You will serve as an ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT ASSISTANT in the NAVAL CONSTRUCTION GROUP of 20THNAVALCONSTRREG. Responsibilities You will track routine and/or complex correspondence and reports. You will maintain files of correspondence, publications, directives, and travel. You will maintain subject matter files and records that relate to the work of the department. You will set up and maintain logs showing the status of actions (such as messages, leave, TAD, reports and telephone calls) and correspondence. You will ensure that all documents are properly signed and filed appropriately. You will manage command events, such as meetings, ceremonies and other special events. You will be responsible for command visitors, and work with senior command leadership to prepare itineraries, agendas and other arrangements for all visitors. You will compile and submit daily muster reports for the Logistics Department. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS - 05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience receiving incoming correspondence, and screening material prior to distribution for suspense dates. Experience managing the supervisor's business calendar, to include scheduling, canceling, and resolving unexpected scheduling conflicts. Experience composing and replying to routine correspondence. Experience reviewing and editing all command correspondence ensuring compliance with the Navy Correspondence Manual. Experience requisitioning all office supplies and equipment for the Logistics Officer, Deputy Logistics Officer and Logistics Leading Chief. Experience compiling and preparing input for the submission of the fiscal year travel budget; to include field exercises, conferences, schools and any other mission essential travel requirements. Experience reviewing and preparing Marine Corps Fitness Reports, Navy Fitness Reports and Navy Evaluations for the Department.
