The Building People, LLC, is seeking an Administrative Specialist to support our federal client. The Administrative Specialist position is a crosscutting role on WMO’s team, primarily supporting the Security Team and their stakeholders.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities include:
Responsible for supporting day-to-day activities and workflow of sub-office teams. Activities may include, but are not limited to:
Support HSPD-12 security package review.
Track a large volume of ongoing security actions and data and be able to respond to information requests on such data.
Manage Outlook calendars to schedule meetings and book conference rooms using the conference room request tool or set up virtual meeting spaces using one of multiple popular platforms (WebEx, Zoom, Teams, etc.).
Coordinate onboarding, equipment and service requests using EERE tools and resources, including CSC, Days, and EITS, and other relevant DOE systems.
Provide onboarding and offboarding support to team members.
Provide note-taking support for office meetings.
Process honorariums.
Required Experience & Skills
Four (4) years of relevant experience
B.S. or B.A. in a related discipline; four (4) years of experience may be substituted for Bachelor degree requirement.
Authorized to work in the United States with no restrictions
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office software, including Outlook and Teams
Working knowledge of computer software utilized in project/program data collection and analysis
Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion

Preferred Education
B.S. or B.A. in a related discipline; four (4) years of experience may be substituted for Bachelor degree requirement.
A Master's degree may be substituted for an additional two (2) years of experience.
