DESCRIPTION OF WORK
We are looking for a highly organized individual to help us plan and coordinate a comprehensive system of social services for the older residents of the community. You will coordinate the Senior Employment Program and the Pennsylvania Department Title V Program, which includes recruiting, interviewing, counseling, and placing applicants into meaningful community employment. Verbal and written communication is very important in this position as you will submit all federal program proposals to ensure the continuance of subsidized employment opportunities for low-income older worker.
You will work to assist the agency with the development of new programs, policies, and operating procedures by reviewing and analyzing existing program achievements. This will include creating posters, pamphlets, and newsletters, as well as coordinating with other staff to set up staff meetings. Compliance is vital to the work we do in our agency, and you will assist with meeting all local, state, and federal policies and regulations.
