The Moody's Risk and Controls Department within Moody's Shared Services is dedicated to establishing and maintaining a risk management culture and framework embedded within the business for the timely identification, management and reporting of key financial, operational, reputational, and strategic risks. The risk and Controls Department includes the Enterprise Risk Management function, Business Continuity and Crisis Management, Third Party Risk, Corporate Insurance, and the Internal Controls Program.
We are seeking an efficient and Administrative Assistant to join our dynamic team of approximately 45 individuals globally. The ideal candidate will possess a strong set of administrative skills including proficiency in PowerPoint creation and visualization, proofreading, calendar management, and other general administrative tasks. This role is vital to the smooth operation of our organization and requires a detail-oriented professional who thrives in an environment with tight timelines, deliverables for senior leaders, and effective partnerships across the organization.
Functional Responsibilities:
PowerPoint Presentation Creation: The candidate will be responsible for crafting and editing PowerPoint presentations for Senior Leader and Board meetings and internal and external meetings. This includes crafting visually appealing slides, incorporating relevant data and information, and ensuring that the presentations align with our brand guidelines.Proofreading: Accuracy is key in this role. The candidate will be responsible for proofreading a variety of documents, including but not limited to reports, policies, and presentations. This task involves checking spelling, grammar, punctuation, and formatting to ensure all materials are professional and error-free.Calendar Management: The candidate will lead multiple calendars, coordinating meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements. This requires excellent collaboration and organizational skills and the ability to understand and prioritize conflicting demands.General Administrative Tasks: The candidate will perform a variety of administrative tasks, such as assisting with expense reports, helping with access requests, onboarding new employees, and assisting with coordinating department wide events. The ability to multitask and stay organized is crucial.
Qualifications
A minimum of 2 years of experience in an administrative role.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially PowerPoint.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail.Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks optimally.Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work remotely and independently with minimal direction.
