Administrative & Communications Coordinator for the Compass Center
Northwestern College has a full-time position for an administrative and communications coordinator for the Compass Center for Career & Calling. This person is responsible for supporting Compass Center staff and programs in career development and experiential education. S/he will design and implement a cohesive marketing and communications plan so that students are aware of career development, internship, and off-campus study opportunities, benefits and deadlines. This individual will work closely with Franken Fellow student leaders, maintaining the career management platform, coordinating employer visits, collecting post-grad data, and supervising work-study students. S/he will inform and advise students and faculty regarding off-campus study opportunities and handle administrative duties related to student applications, travel logistics and internship documentation.
The ideal candidate will have:
A bachelor’s degree
Strong organizational and administrative skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Marketing experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
