Job Summary
The School of Social Science and Global Studies at the University of Southern Mississippi is seeking an adjunct instructor to teach lower-level German language courses either online or face-to-face. The primary responsibility of this position will be teaching a one-semester equivalent beginning or intermediate German .
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Teach German classes as needed
Attend program meetings as determined by the program coordinator.
Follow all university, college, and school policies regarding teaching practices and job performance.
Be responsive to communication from students, staff, and administration.
Hold regular office hours.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
18 graduate hours of German. Master's in related field
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree in German and experience with online teaching. LMS course design experience.
