In this position….
We are looking for a data science/computer science/mechanical/electrical or any other type of engineer who has significant experience in Big Data Analytics, SQL, Python, Dashboard Development, Web Application Development. Recent grads from Data Science/Computer Science will be considered if they demonstrate strong technical abilities. Familiarity with MATLAB, Autonomous Driving Development is a bonus but not a requirement.
What you'll do….
Work with Advanced Driver Assist System (ADAS) engineering team and understanding their data analytics needs
Manage and coordinate requests for connected vehicle data
Develop custom SQL/Python scripts to process the very large datasets flowing from connected vehicles on the Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
Build dashboards based on the data in tools such as Looker, LookerStudio, Apache Superset, Qliksense
Work with engineers to validate connected data by analyzing data from test vehicles.
You'll have…
Expertise in Cloud Platforms such as GCP (Preferred), Azure, AWS.
Expertise in writing complex yet optimized SQL queries
Experience in CI/CD pipelines and tools like GitHub, Docker, Jenkins, Tekton, and Terraform
Expertise in Dashboard building with tools such as Looker, LookerStudio, Apache Superset, Qliksense
Expertise in the Python ecosystem and application building using frameworks like Streamlit, Flask, high-performant Big Data Geo visualization frameworks like DataShader
Experience in JavaScript for high performance Big Data Geo Visualization like Deck.gl, Leaflet etc.
Experience building Web applications
BS, MS or PhD in Data science/Computer Science/Mechanical/Electrical or similar field
2+ years experience in any Big Data Platform (GCP, Azure, AWS) - GCP preferred
2+ years experience in the Python Ecosystem and development of Python Applications
1+ year experience in Dashboard development in Looker, LookerStudio, Apache Superset, Qliksense
Good communication and presentation skills
