This leadership role works in our Auto Center of Excellence (COE), managing a pricing team for our enterprise auto products.
Provides analysis for the full range of actuarial activities related to either insurance pricing or ratemaking for the auto line of business. Builds models and projections to enable the business to generate consistent and sound prices Builds forecasts and models for incurred losses and loss adjustment expense (LAE), CAT and investment risks, and reinsurance for the annual Profit & Growth plan.
Compensation Minimum:$126,800 / year
Compensation Maximum:$222,100 / year

Primary AccountabilitiesProvides input and expert advice to help establish the pricing strategy for the auto LOB; assisting in the communication of pricing strategies to business partners.Manages and oversees rate making process (indication development, rate methodology, rate plan review, rate implementation).Manages the relationship with core business partners and assists prioritization of pricing efforts across states and regions.Responsible for compliance with rate standards used for the respective State Insurance Department.Oversees the use of various predictive modeling tools to produce various analysis and insights.Manages and oversees on-going product and model maintenance.Oversees product Pricing development (from model development through business rule development)
This position may be considered for a Full-Time Remote or Hybrid work arrangement based on the selected candidate's location. Education/Licenses/Designations Bachelor degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics or other relevant quantitative field.Associate of the Casualty Actuarial Society (ACAS).Specialized Knowledge and Skills RequirementsDemonstrated experience providing customer-driven solutions, support or serviceDemonstrated experience communicating complex data to multiple business partners.Demonstrated experience in public speaking and use of appropriate presentation skills.Extensive knowledge and understanding of underwriting guidelines and concepts and the impact to rates.Extensive knowledge and understanding of property and casualty products, pricing, rates and industry trends.Extensive knowledge, understanding and demonstrated experience performing statistical/actuarial analysis and data forecasting and modeling techniques.Travel RequirementsThis position requires travel up to 10% of the time.
