Primary Responsibilities
In this role you will support a dynamic fast-paced Army weapon system Project Office, you will be required to conduct logistics analysis and must understand logistics Integrated Product Support (IPS) elements as outlined in AR 700-127.
Familiarity with fielding processes and the ability to work with competing priorities. In this role you will interface with internal and external stakeholders to include Warfighter and senior leaders at the O6 level and higher.
Must understand the logistics interdependences with the Test Directorate, System Engineering, Quality Assurance, Army Research Laboratory, G8, and the Warfighter to ensure compliance of fielded systems.
Basic Qualifications
BS/BA degree plus eight-years’ experience required.
Must have knowledge of the new adaptive framework for rapid acquisition programs and an understanding of non-program of record weapon system acquisition.
Must have extensive knowledge of logistics acquisition lifecycle processes and experience developing Milestone A/B/C documentation.
Must be able to work independently and be able to respond to issues expeditiously.
Must have an active Secret Clearance.
Must currently reside in or be willing to relocate to the greater Huntsville, AL area.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience developing Business Case Analyses (BCAs) and Basis of Issue Plans (BOIPs)
Knowledge of Type Classification processes a plus.
Pay Range:
Pay Range $78,000.00 - $141,000.00
