Leidos’ National Security Sector has a fantastic job opportunity for an Acquisition Liaison with a current Top Secret/SCI clearance to support a U.S. Asian partner’s Foreign Military Sales (FMS) program located onsite in Busan, Korea; position will involve up to 25% travel.
What Will You Do
As the Acquisition Liaison you’ll be responsible for direct evaluation and involvement with government support to Security Assistance acquisition. This will include assessment of acquisition support processes and ensuring best acquisition practices for the integration of various I&W and EW systems onto various maritime platforms.
In this role, you will support the U.S. Government by :
Providing advice to the U.S. Government and their Asian Partner on strategy, documentation, and execution of near and long-range capability acquisition plans by coordinating across the intelligence community.
Providing technical expertise to establish policy, procedures, and process to facilitate planning and fielding SIGINT capabilities in support of the U.S. Government.
Reviewing design, development, and evaluation documentation to proactively identify risks and issues, and communicate potential solutions to the integrated product team.
Craft briefings, meeting minutes, official correspondence in coordination with the U.S. Government.
Your Areas of Knowledge & Expertise (job qualifications)
A Bachelor's degree and 10 or more years' of related work experience; additional experience may be considered in lieu of advanced degree.
Previous experience with advising U.S. government and foreign partners on acquisition support processes.
Written and spoken Korean proficiency. (Minimum DLPT 3R/3L proficiency required)
At least 10 years’ experience working with U.S. military and security cooperation entities.
Experience in international acquisition practices including arms control and high-tech equipment.
Ability to work long hours and travel as necessary and governed by contract provisions.
Demonstrated communication ability adept at designing professional presentations and public speaking.
Strategic and top-down problem-solving capabilities and able to think holistically with attention to detail.
Strong analytical skills able to translate data into easy-to-understand briefs that drive strategic decisions.
Highly developed communication aptitude, both written and verbal, with an ability to prepare high-level reports and communicate complex issues and concepts clearly, succinctly.
Ability to identify opportunities for and influence change and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
Excellent organization skills and strong learning agility
Up to 25% travel required

Pay Range:
Pay Range $87,100.00 - $157,450.00
