Summary:
Meta’s Reality Labs organization brings together world-class experts to develop and ship groundbreaking AR/VR products at the intersection of hardware, software, and platform. The Technical Operations team has the responsibility for evaluating technologies and identifying supply chain solutions that allow us to deliver HW products to market at scale. The Acoustic Test Engineer will enable timely delivery of Audio Test stations at various module suppliers and FATP IQC sites. The candidate should be experienced in high-volume consumer electronics manufacturing and proficient in all aspects of Audio Test development including fixture design, equipment selection and SW tools. In addition, the candidate should possess excellent communication, problem solving and people skills. The ideal candidate is self-driven, responsive, comfortable working in ambiguous conditions, confident and able to communicate effectively to drive cross functional consensus. We are looking for someone with a productive mindset who can apply their expertise to solve problems in creative, insightful ways.

Acoustic Test Engineer Responsibilities:
Lead the development and implementation of production test solutions for audio modules (Speakers/microphones) at various suppliers sites and FATP IQC.
Ensure manufacturability and testability on the product, identify and deploy cost-effective solutions for test systems, software, and equipment.
Review ERS and test coverage plan with engineering partners
ensure alignment on coverage and schedules.
Lead tester DFM activities with suppliers, establish key parameters for Machine Setup and Buy-off, oversee GRR, CPK and correlation.
Ensure test HW/SW and algorithms are well qualified ahead of key build milestones.
Drive Test correlation activities between module-system and ensure adequate spec guard-bands.
Perform DOE’s, calibration and experiments as needed to improve test systems.
Support resolution of Test issues through data analysis and FACA processes.
Travel up to 45%.
Minimum Qualifications:

BS or MS degree or equivalent experience.
5 or more years of experience as an Audio/Acoustic Manufacturing Test Engineer.
Well versed in design and optimization of acoustic test systems.
Hands on experience with Soundcheck or equivalent solution.
Experience in data analysis and interpretation skills.

Experience developing Audio Test ERS and specifications.
Experience developing Audio analysis SW and tools suited to the production line.
Proficient coding skills in Python, C, C++, or equivalent languages.

Public Compensation:
$170,000/year to $240,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
