JOB REQUIREMENTS: The Accounts Receivable Specialist will be involved inall A/R functions which includes posting daily cash batches,collections, and the aging report. Also responsible for problemresolution in handling credits and billbacks with customer accounts.This position provides status updates on account status when asked byothers within the company. Responsibilities Include: Process accountsand incoming payments in compliance with financial policies andprocedures. Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that allpayments are accounted for and properly posted. Verify discrepancies byand resolve customer\'s billing issues. Facilitate payment of invoicesdue by sending bill reminders, statements and contacting customers asneeded. New Customer Setup - credit checks, system maintenance asneeded. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Minimum 2-yearsAccounts Receivable and Collection experience. High school diploma orequivalent required; additional schooling preferred. Solid understandingof basic accounting principles, fair credit practices and collectionregulations. Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers. Abilityto work independently and effectively apply general accountingprinciples to financial transaction activity. Customer serviceorientation and negotiation skills. High degree of accuracy andattention to detail. Ability to evaluate financial information and applysound judgment in making critical decisions. Strong PC skills usingMicrosoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.). Detail oriented. Goodnumeric skills. Ability to work in a high-volume atmosphere and theability to meet deadlines in a timely manner. Strong interpersonalskills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Demonstratedability to collaborate well cross-functionally and work well at alllevels of the organization. Strong analytical skills, troubleshootingand judgment skills. Results driven with strong multitasking skills in afast-paced high growth environment. The ability to read, write, speak,and understand English is required. Hours and Pay: We offer acompetitive base pay rate and a comprehensive benefits package forfull-time employees.
