Insurance Brokerage Accounting Experience is a must.
Apply and balance all Agency Bill Cash for Frenkel Northeast Cash receipts must be processed in a timely and accurate manner-any exceptions must be discussed with Accounting Manager. Coordinate with Patra for posting of cash and resolve items on the Patra exception report. Ensure Patra receipts are saved in Paperwise or ImageRight. React to & resolve all unapplied cash on account in a timely manner Save all documentation in PW or IR under client/broker code. Manage unresolved discrepancies in a timely manner Refer problems/obstacles to Manager at huddle or immediately if urgent Manage COA report in a timely manner Daily balancing of cash receipts as compared with bank cash deposits Daily review of bank debits for reconciliation Coordinate with Manager (same day) any entries to sub ledger accounts Coordinate with other EPIC offices for payments made to wrong bank account Coordinate with AP team for return premium checks from carriers Accurate use of division and dept codes
Disbursements for Client COA and credit balances Full analysis of credit and cash balances presented to AE for agreement. For refunds over $50K, obtain client bank details for wires (including foreign) and ACH Verify if policies were financed then follow the PFA workflow. Coordinate with PFC and AE to manage PFA Participate in morning huddle Hand out JPM bank reports, ensure coverage for all accounting transactions. Assist all team members as needed Process daily outgoing wires/ACH Create new ACH/Wire templates Mentor for agency bill cash training Participate in special projects as needed Qualifications:
Insurance brokerage accounting experience Strong Microsoft office skills Advanced level excel, must have vlookup expertise Advanced communication and organization skills 3-5 years insurance accounts receivable experience required College degree preferred but not required WHY JOIN US?
