As an Accounts Receivable Analyst supporting US business, you will be trusted to serve as the main contact managing overall collections/performance of the assigned Accounts Receivable (AR) portfolio. This position will communicate with customers regularly via telephone and email for receivables management and revenue protection efforts. In this role, a typical day will include:
Supporting reduction of bad debt expense through proactive collection of outstanding receivables in accordance with terms and conditions of contracts, customer payment terms, etc.Identifying & analyzing root cause of disputes / deductions, while actively participating in resolution & preventionConducting Account Reconciliation; Monitoring payment performance and financial liquidity of existing customersAdministering established credit policies and standards, preparing analysis of customer accounts, and resolving disputed accounts receivable balanceCollaborating with customers to improve AR performance and sets up special credit arrangements and payment schedules with Management/Sr. Analyst oversightManaging all customer reconciliations and reporting needs that are requested by customer basePartnering closely with the customer base and commercial team to establish a strong, working relationship; partnering with U.S. Customer Operation teams to resolve disputesProactively working with AR leadership team to identify high risk accounts before they become an issueProviding support to cash application team as needed for proper application of paymentSupporting month-end close/reporting/compliance requirements for Credit & ARSupporting Franchise programs and product launches as neededWHAT YOU'LL BRING TO ALCON:
