Description:
Accounts Payable/Accounting Responsibilities:
Enter Purchase Orders and process invoices for non-credit card vendors
Make weekly payments to applicable vendors.
Review and process check requests, reconciling accounts payable reports.
Organize and print checks weekly for the Controller’s signature.
Maintain vendor files, answer inquiries, and reconcile monthly vendor statements.
Create and manage accounts payable vendor accounts as required.
Process weekly ACH payments.
Prepare and distribute 1099 tax forms.
Complete credit applications and maintain vendor and student records.
Manage information with TD Bank and Truist Bank for the purchase card program.
Maintain cardholder lists, add or cancel cards, reset passwords, code charges, track receipts, and upload statements.
Administrative Responsibilities:
Schedule meetings for the Director of Finance and Administration.
Assist the Director of Operations with liability insurance renewal.
Review and approve all orders.
Maintain the Business Office and Workroom areas; submitting work orders as needed.
Assist with the faculty grant letters.
Organize Business Office meetings, lunches, birthday celebrations, and holiday activities.
Assist with large mailings.
Schedule shredding service.
Manage stationery.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Accounts payable, Invoice processing, Data entry, Payable, Reconciliation
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Associate and/or Bachelor’s Degree preferred
Accounting background with a focus on Accounts Payable
Experience with Veracross software preferred
Ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple projects
Strong MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint) skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
