JOB OVERVIEW:
This position is responsible for accounts payable processing activities including vendor account management and on-boarding, invoice processing, account management, payment coordination, credit card administration and compliance initiatives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Acquire and reconcile supplier statements and investigate open transactions. Resolve open items and discrepancies identified, such as shortages, price pends, returns, chargeback's, and SPA's, by working directly with and following up with appropriate internal and external areas. Ability to present reconciliation results to supervisor.Invoice and/or return processing activities including entry, scanning, upload and monitoring of 3-way match items. Invoice types include: Overhead, Trade and Equipment.Adhere to compliance requirements as it relates to AP invoice entry. This includes sales tax assessments, Sunshine Act invoice identification, ensuring proper invoice approval and GL coding prior to entry, etc.Administer invoice approval process including Authorization for Disbursement Form (ADF) and entry into ERP system approval table.Administer payment activities for multiple payment instruments including credit card, bank check, ACH, wires, etc., ensuring proper approval and timely payment processing. Follow-up activities related to payments including bank reconciliation inquiries, credit card processingAdminister vendor activities including onboarding, change requests, payments terms, banking, statement acquisition, etc.Special projects and cross training as required

WORK EXPERIENCE:
Typically, 2 or more years of related experience.
PREFERRED EDUCATION:
High School education, with some college experience, vocational training and/or on the job training.

The posted range for this position is $31,680-$55,440 which is the expected starting base salary range for an employee who is new to the role to fully proficient in the role. Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including education, prior experience, training, current skills, certifications, location/labor market, internal equity, etc.
