In this Accounts Payable Clerk Role, your responsibilities include attending to the general administrative needs of the AP/Finance Department, while working closely with and reporting to the Accounting Manager. The primary focus of this role is matching and batching code, resolving Accounts Payable A/P issues, processing expense reports, updating and reconciling sub-ledger to General Ledger (G/L) and processing checks. As an Accounts Payable Clerk Your Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Execute full-cycle A/P
Sort, register, scan, and store invoices, checks, and other documents
Handle administrative tasks for the AP/Finance Department
Provide support during internal and external audits
Execute daily processes and controls accurately and in a timely manner; ensuring compliance with company policies
Manage department mail by opening, sorting, and distributing it on a daily basis
Provide support to internal business partners
Manage the process of verifying, logging, and mailing checks, including expediting special handling
Carry out additional tasks as assigned

Requirements
The ideal Accounts Payable Clerk candidate will have:
Associates of Arts or Bachelor of Science/Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred
Accounts Payable (AP) experience desired
Prior experience in an A/P role preferred
Detailed and have the ability work independently
Working knowledge of spreadsheets and databases
Demonstrated communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, especially with both technical and financial backgrounds
