Description Robert Half has an Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk opportunity in a stimulating work environment with a team of highly skilled professionals. The candidate in this role will work closely with and report to the Accounting Manager. Other responsibilities include attending to the general administrative needs of the AP/Finance Department,. Matching and batching code, resolving A/P issues, processing expense reports, updating and reconciling sub-ledger to G/L and processing checks are primary areas of focus. How you will make an impact
Execute daily processes and controls accurately and in a timely manner; ensuring compliance with company policies
Handle the administrative needs of the AP/Finance Department
Provide internal and external audit assistance as required
Verify, log and send checks, including facilitating special handling
Execute full-cycle A/P
Open, sort, and distribute daily department mail
Carry out additional tasks as assigned
Maintain proper storage of invoices, checks, and other documents by organizing, logging, scanning, and filing them
Assist internal business partners with any customer services needs Requirements - 3+ years of experience in an A/P role preferred
AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, especially when interacting with those in the technical and financial backgrounds
Excel Formulas experience highly desired
Proficiency in Accounting Guidance
Comprehensive knowledge of Accounting Functions
Foundational knowledge in Accounting Functions
Practical knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP)
General familiarity with Quickbooks Online
Background working with Accounts Receivable (AR)
Accounting Entries experience
Demonstrated knowledge of QuickBooks
Account reconciliation experience highly preferred
Adeptness in Microsoft Excel
Attention to detail and ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement
Competent with spreadsheets and databases
