Description:
A person that will ensure accurate processing and recording of company’s payroll, provide timely and accurate financial information, participate in data entry for payroll processing and invoicing, assist in the creation of client invoices on a weekly and monthly basis, and assist with the general human resources administration work including medical record and 401k bookkeeping. Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform payroll department operations
Manage workflow to ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely
Reconcile payroll prior to transmission and validate confirmed reports
Process correct garnishment calculations and compliance
Use Excel and QuickBooks to enter time and attendance processing and interface with payroll
Process accurate and timely year-end reporting, when necessary
Develop ad hoc financial and operational reporting as needed
Process manual checks
Update and reconcile monthly bank statements from third party providers and bank accounts
Load import files received from HR Administrator
Participate in invoice creation for various clients
Develop complete and correct invoices and assist in mailing processes
Assist in the 401k and Healthcare plan administration and bookkeeping
Interact with Company accountant

High School Diploma/GED.
Working knowledge of payroll best practices.
Strong knowledge of federal and state regulations.
Strong PC skills including proficiency in Excel.
Working knowledge of QuickBooks.
Strong work ethic and team player.
High degree of professionalism.
Ability to deal sensitively with confidential material.
Strong interpersonal (verbal and written) communication skills.
Ability to communicate with various levels of management.
Decision-making, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
Organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills.
