We are seeking an Accounting Manager to provide financial reporting support to the business and lead a team of accountants. This position is located at Genoa’s corporate headquarters in Renton, WA.
Under the general supervision of the Director of Accounting and Reporting, the Accounting Manager will be responsible for month-end close, financial reporting, accrual accounting, month-end account reconciliation review, and other accounting related activities including ad hoc reporting requests, analysis, and issue resolution.
Primary Responsibilities:
Lead a team of five accountants that provide reporting, analysis, and reconciliation in support of the fiscal month-end close cycles for Fixed Assets, Leases, Cash, Banking, and Point of Sale
Work collaboratively across the Billing, Accounting, and Operations departments to support strategic initiatives and solve operational challenges
Proactively communicate observations and related recommendations to key stakeholders
Drive business performance by analyzing key performance results, identifying operational inefficiencies, and participating in operational initiatives to improve core metrics
Prepare ad-hoc management reports, research and analysis
Have the ability to be flexible with your work schedule if it is necessary to meet deadlines or deliverables as assigned by the Director of Accounting and Reporting or Executive Management. This is a requirement during Month-End Close

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
Supervisory experience
Experience working with multiple financial systems
Advanced competency in MS Office products, specifically Excel
Proven ability to attract, retain and develop talent
Proven ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously with a solid sense of urgency and project/time management skills
Proven excellent communication skills along with the ability to condense complex information so that it is both easy to digest and actionable in application
Proven excellent process management skills
Proven solid team player, results oriented, metrics driven and capable of working in a fast paced, changing environment
Preferred Qualification:
CPA or CPA candidate and public accounting experience
Healthcare industry experience
Washington Residents Only: The salary range for Washington residents is $88,000 to $173,200 annually.
