CVS Health is seeking an Accounting Coordinator to join our team! The Accounting Coordinator is responsible for the processing of all Landlord requests for reimbursement including: Real Estate Taxes, Common Area Maintenance, Insurance, Utilities, etc.
Additional Responsibilities:
Review all invoices reimbursed to our Landlords including Real Estate Taxes, Common Area Maintenance, Insurance, Utilities, etc.
Review all direct to municipality tax payments and ensure they are paid prior to the due date. This includes validating the correct parcel(s) are paid; validating the period covered by the tax bill is within our Lease Term, ensuring the mailing address on the bill matches the vendor address we have in our system.
Review the appropriate Lease Section as needed to determine our obligation for each expense.
Perform a desktop audit to determine if charges billed are appropriate and compliant with the Lease.
Communicate effectively with Lease Administration or Legal to determine if items not clearly stated in our Lease are our responsibility to pay each year.
Communicate effectively with our Landlords via telephone, email, or in writing to discuss any issues with a request for reimbursement.
Process invoices for payment as determined by the desktop audit and in accordance with our Lease agreement.
Investigate Default issues and other unresolved Landlord issues.
Investigate past due amounts on monthly statements or communication received from our Landlord.
Research and resolve any issues received from the department email box or department voicemail.
Assume responsibility for difficult issues that require problem solving skills.
Work on Special Projects as needed.
Open and sort mail received in our department. Determine the correct department if mail is not Occupancy related.
Input mail received into our Lease database each day.
Required Qualifications
1+ years experience with clerical, payables or accounting.
1+ years experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and SAP
Preferred Qualifications:
Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly, accurately and tactfully, either verbally or in writing.
Ability to document, analyze and resolve problem situations accurately and promptly in a professional manner.
Demonstrated ability to work with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
Proven ability to work independently and to prioritize your work to meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and SAP
Lease Accounting background would be beneficial.

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$17.00 - $29.88
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
