Description:
This position will be a clerical position supporting the accounting team. They will be responsible for a decently high volume of data entry supporting the accounting staff. This will not be an analytical role, more so taking the information that the accounting team as already verified and making sure that it is entered, and updated correctly in excel and their ERP system (sage). They will just need to have basic math skills, along with the basic understanding of a debit and a credit for this position.
Duties:
• Accounting Data Entry – entering customer information, account numbers, etc. into the system.
• Basic AP/AR skills – they just need to understand the fundamentals like debits and credits as they’ll be doing basic bookeeping
• Data entry – answering accounting department email – most of this are things from customers and employees surrounding invoices, reimbursements, things of that nature. The team will process the intricate items, but its likely this person will take care of the basic task.
