Position Description:

This position will be located in Tulsa, OK. You will work a hybrid schedule with days working in the office and some days working remotely. You will have 2-4 years of experience in public accounting and/or 3-5 years of industry accounting experience preferred. A CPA is strongly preferred.
What You Will Do
Prepare advanced level of multiple accounting and financial activities to ensure compliance with rules, regulations, and legislation; analyze their effect on company finances and accounting procedures (as specified by position).
Analyze journal entries, records, account reconciliations, and reports. Analyze studies and recommendations in areas related to accounting or finance methods and procedures.
Develop applicable programs used in finance and other accounting activities. Perform calculations and analyses including:
Actual to forecast and historical period variance analysis
Share-based accounting
EPS
Depreciations (book)
Financial ratios
Rate/tariff schedules
Derivative entries and disclosures
Allocations
Projections/forecasts
Cash flow
Assist employees compiling, verifying, and preparing a variety of financial information including:
Actual to forecast and historical period variance analysis
Governmental/regulatory reports
Invoices
Financial reports
Reconciliation reports
Quarterly income statements
Billing Revenues
Gas supply tracking and reconciliations
Cost of gas calculations
Budget
Help with the development, maintenance and usage of relevant applications for accounting and financial analysis activities.
Maintain proper documentation of activities to ensure business continuity and knowledge transfer among personnel. Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; read professional publications; maintain personal networks; participate in professional organizations.

What You Will Need
Minimum bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
Preferred master's degree
Experience with and knowledge of generally accepted accounting principals, company financial accounting, and billing methods and procedures.
Experience with the application of math, advanced algebra, and statistics.
Experience in use and function of office equipment including microcomputers and applicable software and accessing mainframe applications.
Experience or training related to:
Financial accounting and reporting standards and processes (specified by position)
Economic forecasting/modeling and corporate budget functions (specified by position)
Interpreting and explaining accounting standards
Customer billing and related processes
Supervisory skills (specified by position)
Experience analyzing, evaluating, and preparing studies and recommendations concerning impact of standards, regulations, and legislation on company finances and accounting processes.
Experience researching, composing, and preparing reports, studies, publications, and correspondence applicable to position.
Experience reading and interpreting company correspondence, reports, accounting-related publications, contracts, accounting software manuals, computer printouts, and legal documents.
Lead, train, coach, delegate, and review work activities. Knowledge of personnel procedures.
Interact, advise, direct, and communicate effectively.
Experience developing and presenting information to individuals and groups.
Read and write fluently in English.
Preferred Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Management Accountant (CMA), Certified Treasury Professional (CTP), or other relevant financial certification.
Mobility to travel in and around office facilities system wide.
Communicate and exchange information or verbal instructions and conduct oral presentations.
Visual ability to perform job responsibilities.
