As a member of the World Trade TechnologySolutions Sales Organization (TSS), you will be responsible for development andexecution of the strategy to achieve specific business targets and strategicobjectives for Custom IC Verification products (SPICE and mixed signal circuitsimulation, AMS simulation environment, Variation analysis, LibraryCharacterization & IP Validation) within the territory comprised primarilyof Central and East coast accounts. This position could be based anywhere inthe Central region or in the East coast.
This ATM will also need to drive the prioritiesof all product line opportunities in the territory and provide a clearprioritization for resource allocation to the field technical resourcemanagement and product division. This person will thus be responsible formaintaining up-to-date data for tracking engagements including sales stage,progress against plan, action items, risks, and prioritization. As part of thisrole, the ATM is responsible for defining the technical account plans andcampaigns necessary to achieve the initial win, proliferation, and strategicdevelopment partnerships with customers in the territory. This person will workclosely with the Account Manager to develop this plan and the Account Managermust ultimately approve this plan. In this role the ATM will work closely withthe Field Application engineers to ensure that technical issues are resolvedand escalate critical issues to the Product Engineering, Product Specialist,Product Management and R&D teams as needed.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited tothe following activities:
Develop the overallproduct strategy along with the Field technical management to achieve businesstargets and strategic objectives. Business targets and strategic objectives aredefined by sales management in conjunction with the product division. Thestrategy to achieve those business targets requires the construction of atop-down and bottom-up plan account by account within a territory (includingcalling out strategy to capture unidentified business in that territory).Define technical accountengagement plans and campaigns necessary to achieve the results. The strategyand plans for each account must be approved by the Account Manager.Lead and manage theaccount campaigns for the specific product line.Ensure understanding ofall elements of any technical campaign - decision process, success criteria,committed usage upon success, run rate impact, AE resources required and, ofcourse, solving the customer's problem.Establish regularmeetings with specific customer management to support successful campaigns.Align with account teamon business opportunities and build up the engagement tracking mechanism toensure ability to summarize data and communicate progress vs plan acrossmultiple accounts effectively.Define, track, andreport the priorities for all engagements at every stage and communicateclosely with technical management helping to prioritize engagements and shortvs. long-term objectives.Build strong customerrelationships to enable establishment of strategic relationships for Mentor inproduct / technology.Serve as the key fieldresource to summarize competitive threats and opportunities.
Job Qualifications
BSEE, BSCE or BSCSDegree or equivalent, MS preferred.7+ years of relatedexperience.Product, market andindustry knowledge of Analog & Mixed-Signal IC design.Strong technicalknowledge and experience in Analog & Mixed-Signal IC design.Understanding of circuitsimulation software and experience using any of the circuit simulators such asAFS, Eldo, Spectre, Hspice, CustomSim-XA, PrimeSim or other circuit simulatorsKnowledge of Variationanalysis and/or Library Characterization tools is a plus.Strong prospecting,uncovering, demand creation, and negotiation skills.Experience creating andmaintaining technical campaigns.Ability to setappropriate expectations and decision criteria.Guide technicalcampaigns to successful closure.Comfortable deliveringcustomer presentations.Understanding ofFinance.

The total cashcompensation range for this position is $134,700 to $269,400 with 30% of thisbeing comprised of an annual incentive target.
