The Global Technology Partnerships team is a crucial differentiator for Salesforce as we enter our next phase as a company. With our key strategic partners, we help extend and deliver new product offerings and strengthen our industry positioning. We help Salesforce enable new business models and distribution patterns that enhance the value proposition for our customers. This role is focused on our strategy for China, our partnership with Alibaba Cloud, and, above all else, delivering a successful outcome for our multinational customers in China.
The team is seeking new Account Specialists to work closely with our multinational customers who heavily rely on business success in China. The role requires building influential and trusted relationships with customers and Alibaba while drawing in all key account members and the broader "China" team. Achieving ambitious sales success for Alibaba is a crucial outcome of the role.
You will join an existing team with members spread between China, Singapore, Europe and North America. This role will primarily focus on Salesforce's existing EMEA Headquartered customers keen to exploit Salesforce on Alibaba for their China operations.
Job Responsibilities
Research and identification of potential multinational customers with an interest in acquiring and adopting Salesforce on Alibaba within a designated geographic region Enable our customers on the Salesforce on Alibaba vision and roadmap and identify their business priorities for ChinaEngage the China Team resources in a coordinated sales campaign to progress the customer's interest and desire to purchase Build trusted relationships with both customer and account team stakeholders - identify and lead the resolution of any obstacles or objections Maintain and manage a healthy pipeline of opportunities and progress the sales cycle to a successful handover to Alibaba for closure Enable the Alibaba team on Salesforce products, solution selling and selling methodology best practices through live customer interactions Close collaboration with the China Marketing team to maximise the opportunity for account-based marketing activities Continue to evolve and develop an intimate insight into relevant Chinese business and technology trends so you can act as a valued, trusted advisor to the customer's senior stakeholdersAlign all key staff within Salesforce, Alibaba Cloud and Partner(s) to ensure an optimum outcome for the customer that accelerates their migration to China. Identify and build strong relationships with Alibaba Cloud International to ensure they are enabled and motivated by our partnership strategy
Required Experience and Skills
Previous sales experience ideally within Salesforce or the Salesforce ecosystemFluent in English and preferably one other European language Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to build relationships and work collaboratively to get resultsOutstanding interpersonal skills, excellent communicator - including written and verbal communicationComfortable with the ambiguity associated with a fast-paced business with complex geopolitical challenges Working independently and within a globally diverse team
Desired Skills and Experience
