About Account Representative (Pescara)

  As an Account Representative you are trusted, strategic partner to companies around the world. This is your chance to align with our European customers to meet their supply chain and logistics needs while delivering a wonderful customer experience.

  As an Account Representative, you’ll manage a group of small- to mid-size accounts to build strong, long-term relationships with account leadership. You’ll be empowered to manage and grow existing accounts by bringing forth new services, and expanding on existing services offered, with a focus on increasing efficiency, adding value, maximizing profitability through the account’s supply chain.

  RESPONSIBILITIES:

  Develop account relationships with contacts at multiple levels within customer organizations

  Identify opportunities to further penetrate accounts by selling C.H. Robinson’s diverse portfolio of services

  Design solutions and help our customers solve their supply chain challenges

  Ensures quality expectations are met on all executed shipments

  Uses effective negotiation and sales strategies in discussing pricing and selling solutions with the customer

  Collaborate with account leadership to develop pricing strategies

  Identify issues and consulting with the customer to determine best course of action and implement solutions

  Manage customer expectations through the creation and utilization of metrics

  Develops a deep understanding of carrier’s business, goals, preferences, capabilities, equipment, and expertise to maximize the relationship, capacityutilization and carrier satisfaction

  Collaborate on creating business reviews and contribute to or lead customer meetings

  QUALIFICATIONS:

  Minimum 2 years experience in Transport Industry is mandatory

  Minimum 2-3 years of previous sales and/or account management experience

  Proficient in Italian and English (written and verbal) is mandatory

  Values a diverse and inclusive work environment

  Demonstrated negotiation, collaboration, and influencing skills

  Strong prioritization skills, multi-tasking skills, and works with a sense of urgency

  Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of programs
