  Job Overview

  TE Connectivity's Account Management Teams are responsible for selling TE's products, systems or services, providing detailed technical product information and maintaining relationships with customers in assigned geographic territory, industry or accounts.

  The Account Manager will report to the Sales Director and will promote TE products and solutions within an assigned scope of responsibility. Also, the Account Manager will work together with all Automotive team members to drive maximum penetration of TE's products.

  • Leverage knowledge of Automotive Market to develop and implement strategies for the assigned Territory accounts.

  • Develop budget and forecast for territory.

  • Update sales activities and opportunities utilizing standard tools.

  • Liaison for customer specifications and requirements, to manage development of new product offerings.

  • Develop and grow customer territory.

  • Provide high level customer service and consultative selling skills to ensure maximum revenue and profitability.

  • Develop and maintain relationships at multiple levels in the customer base to position TE as a strategic partner with a competitive advantage.

  • Maintain a high level of awareness in regards to industry trends and competitive activity within the territory.

  • Drive sales growth through maximization of resources and execution of market segment strategies.

  • Effectively communicate with all other Automotive team members to promote the business needs of the territory to foster growth.

  • Manage secured business liaising between the internal organization of TE and OEMs to ensure successful launch and ongoing execution of the business

  What your background should look like:

  • • Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in Business Administration or Engineering

  • High degree of Integrity, Teamwork, Innovation and Accountability

  • 6-8 years of sales experience with 2-3 years' experience in the Automotive Industry

  • Strong working knowledge vehicles, connection systems, and vehicle architectures

  • Strong customer service orientation

  • Proven skills in developing/implementing strategies for market segments, customers and products consistent with the overall business plan

  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross functionally and to influence without direct authority

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including presentation and computer skills (i.e. Power Point, Excel, Word, Salesforce, and other internal tools)

  • Must be a self-starter, and exhibit strong results-orientation and execution characteristics

  • Ability to effectively organize, prioritize and accomplish multiple conflicting tasks, make intelligent, timely decisions and solve problems independently

  • Ability and willingness to travel as required, including international travel

  COMPENSATION

  • Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $115,760 - $173,640 (subject to change dependent on physical location)

  • Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.

  • Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
