We currently have an exciting opportunity within our Smart Infrastructure business unit for an experienced and motivated Sales Professional. The role will be working within the Building Automation and Security part of our business, based in our North Ryde, NSW office.

Reporting to the Service Operations Head, this role will be responsible for the growth targets in in the Building Automation, Security and Digital Buildings portfolios across New South Wales. The primary function is to achieve annual sales growth targets with a focus on generating new profitable customers for Siemens. You will be required to proactively select, collect communicate customer/competitor information required to improve market transparency and to identify potential new customers, fostering relationships within Government, Corrections, Building and Property sectors.

Your key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Performing all required Sales activities for NSW including;

Evaluating customer requirements and developing a solution to meet those requirements

Preparing and submitting offers to customers

Negotiating offers with customers

• Be the customer advocate within the Siemens organisation, taking responsibility for all customer activities ensuring a timely and positive outcome

• Perform sales administration tasks such as forecasting and reporting, pipeline management, CRM management etc.

You will also be required to set up bid and tender projects, from the commercial project execution bid part, through to the technical element and final bid composition. This will be achieved by working closely with Senior Sales Executives Project Managers, ensuring a clear, attractive, and competitive customer value proposition.

The ideal candidate will be highly motivated with a Certificate/Diploma in a technical and/or commercial discipline, have experience in a selling role and be able to demonstrate a successful track record. You will also have a technical appreciate of the Building Controls and Automation sector, ideally with some Mechanical, Electrical, Building or Property industry experience.

You must be able to communicate effectively and be able to build strong relationships at all levels internally and within customer organisations.
