What You Will DoYou will primarily sell Trimble Asset Lifecycle Management (ALM) comprising the solutions for Enterprise Asset Management (Cityworks), Digital Project Delivery (e-Builder), and our other software offerings to our Existing Private clients.Manage sales efforts in your territory.Prospect, develop and track new opportunities toward closure.Call on decision makers at targeted organizations.Upsell and Cross-sell our products into existing Tier 1 accounts.Develop strong business relationships with business partners.Become proficient at presenting Cityworks, e-Builder, and other Trimble technology.
Provide superior customer service, and maintain frequent and personal contact with existing customers to build strong relationships, long-term customer loyalty, and develop further potential upsell and cross sell opportunities.Proactively manage and sell to all assigned clients in your territoryIdentify opportunities for growth within the assigned accountsWork to maximize the product utilization within every accountProvide creative solutions to ambiguous business problemsWork inter-departmentally within e-Builder to minimize risk of cancellation and ensure the success of renewalsDocument all activity, communication and opportunity in our CRM of recordMeet or exceed your quotaTravel within your region for onsite client visitsWhat Skills & Experience You Should Bring5+ years in Sales or Business Development within the Tech space.Solid knowledge of construction workflows and challenges with respect to citizen engagement, maintenance and operations, permitting and planning, construction projects and digital project delivery, and so forth.We seek someone with experience in selling and negotiating with large organizationsWe seek someone with experience in managing large organizationsKnowledge of Cityworks and e-Builder software is a plus.Knowledge of Trimble Survey and Mapping technology is a plus.Knowledge of Esri ArcGIS® is a plus.Knowledge of Salesforce CRM is a plus.Ability to think and act strategically as well as tactically.Self-starter with a strong need for achievement.Enjoys the challenge of being a significant part of a growing, developing organization.Strong persuasion, reasoning, and negotiation skills.Effective time management, decision making, analytical, and problem solving capabilities.A high level of ethics, professionalism, and confidence.Excellent customer service skills with a can-do attitude and an extremely strong drive.A strong work ethic with the ability to work independently.Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to conduct product demonstrations.EducationWe are looking for self-starters who have experience selling enterprise software. Who are well-organized, give effective presentations, speak well in front of others and can think creatively to help develop business. Who work effectively with others, nurture the buyer's journey and can close deals.A bachelor's degree in business, public administration, technology, civil engineering, GIS, geography, or related field is preferred.Travel
You will travel approximately 25-50% of the time within your region meeting with existing customers. Occasional travel outside of your region to support trade shows or attend company meetings.
