General Information:
Hitachi Energy is seeking an Account Manager for its Oil & Gas, Energy, and Industrial customers based in Alberta, Canada. This role is responsible for managing large customer accounts and providing technical guidance and support for Hitachi Energy's portfolio including protection and control, automation, digitalization, transformers, high voltage equipment, and service. This position will provide and exciting opportunity to develop and apply sales strategies with a solution-based approach to drive value, growth, and customer service excellence.
Responsibilities:
Ensures continuous development of customer relationships at all levels of the organization strengthening customer loyalty and sales growthDevelops sales plans, strategies, selling and business development initiatives for large accountsSecures annual sales targets primarily for the Oil & Gas and Energy sectorProvides technical solutions addressing customer requirementsDevelops a strong knowledge in Hitachi Energy's extensive portfolio including development with digital solutions in Energy Management Systems (EMS), Asset Performance Management (APM), and Energy Portfolio Management (EPM)Applies experience and knowledge in substation equipment including transformers, breakers, protection & control, and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems in developing solutions for customersProvides customer service excellence by being available as a central point of contact for Hitachi Energy's large accountsEnsures data accuracy in the Salesforce platform for managing sales pipeline and forecastingCoordinates with business units to ensure the value-based solution provided for customersParticipates conferences, trade shows and customer engagement events
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or Technical Diploma in Electrical Engineering, or related disciplines is required, master's degree will be considered an assetTechnical sales background in a related industry experience6+ years of sales experience with a proven record of accomplishment in sales growthBoth Account Management and Business Development Management experiencePossess excellent presentation and communication skills (oral and written) ' and is well-versed in representing the company to all levels of management including senior executivesAction-oriented individual who can handle multiple tasksContinuously seeking knowledge with the ability to adapt to changing market conditions with a winning attitude to be successful.
