  The Role:

  Intersection is looking for an Account Executive to join our experienced and talented Chicago team. Intersection is the dominant Out-of-home company in Chicago.  As the exclusive media representative for the CTA and for Pace, our coverage is unparalleled, throughout Chicago and into the suburbs.  Our media footprint, made up of bus, rail, and station media, is only growing, particularly as we expand our digital footprint at street level and also on CTA station platforms.   

  You will bring media experience (static and digital) to our organization.  Account Executives at Intersection that succeed have a direct path to growth in billings, income, and experience on a team that continues to lead our industry. This position brings the perfect opportunity to take your career to the next level with a company that is transforming cities and delivering on our promises to our clients and to our longstanding Municipal and Transit Authority partners. You will be tasked with creating new opportunities, managing key relationships, competing vs. other companies and growing agency and client spend with Intersection. You will bring strong relationships and expertise to this job on day one. 

  What you will accomplish:

  Generate revenue from new business prospects, bringing new advertisers to our media. Work with some existing clients and small to medium size advertising agencies to grow their spend with Intersection Meet and exceed quarterly and annual targets, Develop and implement effective market sales and marketing strategies that maximize sales opportunities. Build and maintain effective relationships, to ensure Intersection’s portfolio is well represented across a book of business Use research and analysis to create rationale and recommendations for proposed solutions. Communicate with local management, as well as clients, buyers, and sales agencies. Effectively compete and win business from other advertising mediums Develop skill set to grow average deal size and client retention rate, using relationships and better understanding to consistently increase billings   Total Cash Compensation: $110,000.00 - $120,000.00

  What we are looking for:

  2-4 years of sales experience preferred (must be static, digital OOH, or digital but have sold locally to local customers) Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets Excellent communications skills - both written and oral Strong negotiation, organizational and presentation skill Enthusiastic team player Competitive, with a desire to win Strong work ethic, with the ability to influence Out-of-home media experience a strong plus Digital Media Sales preferred Experience with Salesforce a plus
