  Im Team Advanced Operations (AO) entwickeln und verantworten wir Produktionsprozesse für Neuprodukte. An der Schnittstelle zwischen interner Entwicklung, Produktion, Quality und Einkauf beeinflussen wir maßgeblich die erfolgreiche Markteinführung unserer Produkte. Aufgrund des hohen Innovationsgrades unserer Neuprodukte, haben wir einen ständigen Bedarf an innovativen Fertigungsprozessen nach aktuellstem Stand der Technik.

  Unser Angebot an Dich

  Mit deiner Abschlussarbeit unterstützt du unsere Abteilung Advanced Operations bei der Neuentwicklung bzw. Optimierung von Fertigungsprozessen für unsere innovativen Produkte der computer- und robotergestützten Chirurgie.Themen in folgenden Bereichen stehen zur Auswahl:Konzeptionelle bzw. experimentelle Bewertung von Fügeverfahren für Hochleistungskunststoffe bzw. MetalleAnalyse von Fertigungsverfahren für Hochleistungskunststoffe bei geringen StückzahlenEntwicklung und Testung von Vermessungskonzepten für Instrumente mit komplexen GeometrienEinflussanalyse eines Materialwechsels auf Produktionsprozesse von hochpräzisen Produkten der computergestützten ChirurgieAutomatisierung von ProzessschrittenDu erstellst einen Projektplan, anhand dessen du deine wissenschaftliche Arbeit steuerst und letztlich mit praktisch relevanten Ergebnissen zum Abschluss bringen wirst. Innerhalb deines Themas berücksichtigst du produktionsrelevante Zielgrößen wie Zeit, Kosten und Qualität.Dabei befindest du dich an der zentralen Schnittstelle zwischen diversen Unternehmensbereichen und erhältst so umfassende Einblicke in die Abteilungen Produktentwicklung, Fertigung und Qualität. Wenn notwendig stehst du im engen Austausch mit unseren externen Lieferanten.

  Das zeichnet Dich aus

  Du studierst Ingenieurwissenschaften mit der Fachrichtung Maschinenbau, Elektrotechnik, Informatik, Medizintechnik, Produktionstechnik, Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen, Mechatronik oder bist in einem ähnlichen Studiengang eingeschrieben. Dein ausgeprägtes Interesse an fertigungstechnischen Fragestellungen befähigt dich, dich mit komplexen technischen Problemstellungen auseinanderzusetzen. Gute Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift ermöglichen dir eine problemlose und sichere Kommunikation in unserem internationalen Umfeld. Es macht dir Spaß, selbstständig und strukturiert Lösungen zu erarbeiten und dabei fällt es dir leicht, im Team und über Teamgrenzen hinaus zu interagieren. Eine hohe Eigeninitiative, Offenheit und Kommunikationsfähigkeit runden dein Profil ab.

  In the Advanced Operations (AO) team, we are responsible for the production processes of new products. At the interface between internal development, production, quality and purchasing, we have a significant influence on the successful market launch of new products. Due to the high degree of innovation of our products, we have a constant need for innovative, state-of-the-art manufacturing processes.

  Our offer to you

  You will support our Advanced Operations department with the new development or optimization of manufacturing processes for our innovative products of computer- and robot-assisted surgery.Topics of the following categories are available:Conceptual and/or experimental evaluation of joining processes for high-performance plastics and metalsAnalysis of manufacturing processes for high-performance plastics in small quantitiesDevelopment and testing of measuring concepts for instruments with complex geometriesImpact analysis of a material change on production processes for high-precision products of computer-assisted surgeryAutomation of process stepsYou will create a project plan that you will use to manage your scientific work and ultimately complete it with results of practical relevance.Within your topic, you will take into account production-relevant targets such as time, costs, and quality.You will find yourself at the central interface between various areas of the company, giving you comprehensive insights into the product development, production, and quality departments.If necessary, you will be in close contact with our external suppliers.

  What makes you stand out

  You are studying engineering with a focus on mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, medical technology, production technology, industrial engineering, mechatronics, or are enrolled in a similar course of study.Your pronounced interest in production engineering enables you to deal with complex technical problems.A good command of written and spoken English enables you to communicate easily and confidently in our international environment. You enjoy working out solutions independently and systematically and find it easy to interact in a team and beyond team boundaries. A high level of initiative, openness, and communication skills round off your profile.
