Allergan Aesthetics AA Medical Lead for LENWA (LEVANT, Egypt, North West Africa)
Location: Cairo
Responsibilities:
Medical and Scientific Information
Local representative of GAMA activities;
Provides in-depth clinical and scientific information relating to Allergan products to internal staff and, on demand, to external customers;
Maintains an understanding of AA products and relevant therapeutics across portfolio.
Planning and execution of Key Medical affairs programs and projects
Work closely with Medical Director, to set priorities, strategy and activities of Medical Affairs;
Develop and execute against a Medical Affairs plan to support physicians and other medical professionals, as well as, maintain Allergan’s success in the BU;
Work closely with the Regional Medical Affairs team and International / Global Therapeutic Lead to ensure alignment of local activities with those of the region.
Key Opinion Leaders
Responsible for the management of collaborative relationships with national and local opinion leaders to ensure alignment of clinical and scientific opinion and AA strategy:
Org anize advisory boards and scientific round table meetings with specialists;
Attends relevant scientific congresses to meet with opinion leaders, observe podium presentations and maintain in-depth understanding of scientific and therapeutic advances.
Study Support
Responsible for screening of investigator led study proposals and managing requests in line with Allergan SOPs;
Maintains understanding of International, EU and national legal, regulatory, ethical requirements for the conduct of clinical research;
Provides support to national investigators participating in Allergan sponsored studies as appropriate.
Business Unit and AMI Support
Provides scientific support and assistance to country management, as required, to support business needs;
Assists in internal and external training events;
Advises speakers for congresses, symposia and other events to spread and enhance scientific knowledge;
Supports creation and delivery of scientific training and materials;
Review promotional materials produced locally;
Pursue good synergy - local and international AMI teams;
Assist and direct AMI educational initiatives to align to business strategy.

Requirements:
Medical Doctor, Pharm D, or PhD or MPharm or MSc with significant experience (3+ years in medical affairs function as MSL or MA);
Experience in the pharmaceutical industry essential, especially within Medical Affairs;
Able to understand the clinical and scientific aspects of different therapeutic areas;
Excellent command of local language(s) and English;
Sales and other commercial experience will be an advantage;
Relationship Building - Identifying opportunities and taking action to build strong scientifically based relationships with opinion leaders;
Excellent Communication skills and Presentations skills, both written and oral - ability to present scientific data in balanced and compelling fashion. Ability to turn complex scientific knowledge in to easily understood language for different audiences;
Planning & Organizing : able to plan and execute multiple complex projects and maintain relationships therefore need to be resilient, self-starters who are focused on completing a task;
Decision Making : identifying and understanding issues, problems and opportunities; comparing data from different sources to draw conclusions; using effective approaches for choosing a course of action or developing appropriate solutions;
Adaptability - Able to work in a fast, dynamic, multicultural and matrix structure; adjust readily;
