About 2nd Shift Production Supervisor

  Kelly Services is partnered with a Green Bay manufacturer that makes various custom plastic items and a wide array of containers for food, chemicals, additives, institutional, and specialty applications in search of a 2nd Shift Production Supervisor! We're seeking a candidate whose leadership skills and work experience have prepared them to excel at directing workers to optimize their productivity while ensuring safety and quality standards are achieved.

  *This position is direct hire and full-time.

  *Must be willing to train for the first 2 months on 1st shift before moving to 2nd shift.

  *Location: Green Bay, WI

  Responsibilities and Duties Include:

  Supervising a team of 4-5 production employees

  Ensuring operation procedures are performed safely and efficiently

  Maintaining quality standards

  Making equipment adjustments and repairs as needed

  Training production employees and covering in areas that are short-handed

  Working production operations

  Performing the production assistant and material handler tasks, when needed

  What We're Looking For:

  High level of manufacturing mechanical aptitude

  A successful Shift Supervisor has good leadership skills that will motivate and mentor others to achieve their optimal performance. - Must be good at recognizing and solving problems, are attentive to details, communicate well, and enjoy working in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

  Production optimization mindset - work smarter, not harder.

  Must respond to the needs of their team and the requirements of the customers.

  Successful supervisors have a good understanding of basic mechanical systems.

  Shift Hours: 2:15pm-10:30pm, Monday-Friday

  *Supervisors are required to work outside of their regular hours when another supervisor is absent.

  Provided Benefits:
