What you can expect in this role
As a Spectrum Intern, you'll be essential to two teams - your respective department and your Intern peer group. Department and team-focused projects account for about 80% of your schedule. You'll spend the other 20% on professional development sessions and networking activities, including the Kickoff Conference on May 29th, webinars, community service, cross-functional project, and final presentations.
Internship responsibilities may include
Programming Data Analytics team has been tasked with providing STB data-based strategic recommendations to inform $12B+ worth of annual programming spend at Charter Communications (parent company of Spectrum).
• The intern will be involved in all stages of Big Data Analytics, mining and analyzing Set Top Box and IPTV-based viewership data to inform key content acquisition decisions at Charter Communications.
• Additionally, the intern will be involved in developing Engagement metrics for other Charter services, including Internet and Mobile.
• Throughout the internship, the intern will liaison with various internal teams including Programming, Product, BI, Finance, etc. and will be mentored by Sr. Manager of Data Analytics as well as a VP, Programming Data Analytics.
