Job Summary
The Presentation Designer co-op will have exposure to pitchbook materials and be responsible for creating custom pitch slides that are within the firm’s brand standards. This individual will proactively and effectively partner with Marketing functional partners on firm brand standards and updates. This individual will have expertise and familiarity with best practices for design and formatting content as well as the ability to work as a team player in a small group with a wide range of internal customers whose end clients are high-profile, global leaders in the technology industry.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Craft creative and strategic presentations and well as conceptual templates for external client purposes.
Format Word, Excel, and PowerPoint documents.
Create fully functional custom PowerPoint templates (concepts, artwork and slide layouts) based on project intakes that are aligned with firm brand standards.
Create, or update PowerPoint pitch books and presentations in accordance with firm brand standards.
Create charts, graphs, tables, icons, maps and other infographics that strategically align with and support the deal execution and client need.
Photo retouching and photo manipulation.
Forming and maintain relationships with Marketing Department functional partners to stay informed and updated on firm brand standards and best practices to bring back to the Investment Banking business.
Partnering with leaders and key stakeholders to understand design, graphics and presentation needs of the business.
Responsible for building and maintaining a structure and system to organize and store all presentation, template, graphic, and pitch book materials.
Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Knowledge of
Strong understanding of basic design principles and best practices for formatting content
Strong knowledge and experience designing infographics, financial charts, tables, and graphs
Displaying complex data in a visually sophisticated, appealing, and engaging format
Microsoft Office including Word Document, Excel and PowerPoint
Skill in
Expertise in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel (non-technical), and Adobe Acrobat Pro.
Strong in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator.
Strong professional written and verbal communication skills.
Familiarity with Adobe Premiere or other video editing software is a bonus.
Ability to
Take ideas and think creatively to make professional, aesthetically pleasing layouts while maintaining company identity standards.
Interpret and process market data to think through options for compelling visual representations.
Organize information with attention to hierarchy, order and emphasis.
Provide extensive attention to formatting detail and aesthetics.
Identify gaps in a story or identify what is missing that should be added.
Work independently on a project or collaboratively as a team player and able to integrate with a diverse team with varying opinions and ideas.
Work in a dynamic, growing environment - flexible and open to changing priorities and managing multiple tasks simultaneously within compressed timeframes.
Organize, follow-through, and manage time, particularly in organizing and tracking progress on multiple tasks from multiple projects.
Strong aptitude to adapt and learn quickly.

Currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate degree program.

Any equivalent combination of experience, education, and/or training as approved by Human Resources.
