The Opportunity
The Program Manager intern will support the Portfolio Management and Chief of Staff function of the Business Capability Design and Delivery organization. This organization aims to partner with the Adobe leadership and teams to drive planning, operations, and effectively manage the portfolio to achieve business and technology objectives. This intern will assist with day to day portfolio activities, drive small to medium size projects, as well as find opportunities for optimizing the portfolio processes.
What You'll Do:
Review the portfolio health and provide data driven status reports for broader audience including program team members and senior leadership.Work with other teams on developing and documenting portfolio best practices.Drive the activities to prepare for events such as All Hands to drive team engagement.Work on exciting and relevant projects within the group.Drive project delivery with key contributors and manage scope, schedule and resources.Efficiently multi-task, working across multiple key internal initiatives.
What you need to succeed:
Organized and methodical and have taken classes or have experience in project management.Ability to break down the complex concepts into manageable steps.Growth mindset and curious about how to improve processes.Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, experience in PowerPoint and ExcelSelf starter and someone who leans in and willing to reach out and collaborate with other organizations to connect dots.Understanding of the software or project lifecycle, Agile methodology.Desire to work in IT and portfolio management teams.Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree or higher (Computer Science, Engineering, Program Management, Systems Analysis, Information Technology, or related field is a plus).Strong verbal and written communication skills - includes excellent reporting and forecasting skills.Analytical Thinking - capable of harnessing quantitative and qualitative data.Strong problem-solving skills: ability to come up with innovative solutions to address difficult problems.Proficient in Excel skills with ability to build and manipulate spreadsheets, to include analysis, auditing, budgeting, and resource allocations.Effective change manager, attention to detail (without getting stuck in the weeds), problem solver, hardworking, ambitious, and willing to be hands on.
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets.
