Responsibilities
Primary function is to act as a risk manager, product, and platform owner for the Japan Financing Desk. Day-to-day management of the workflow from client order capture, execution of hedges, and post-trade. Work closely with distribution, trading desks, and operations team in the Institution Equity Division to manage the business. Strong focus on the operational workflow management and its improvement, both tactical with strat-like tooling and strategic by working with Technology teams. Coordinate platform and product improvement with technology teams, business strategists and relevant infrastructure groups.
Skills required:
Graduating from university with a Bachelor's or Master's degree between September 2023 - August 2024 (All majors are encouraged to apply) Language skills: Fluent level English and Intermediate level Japanese or above proficiency Strong IT skills and capacity to play with data: MS Office, Excel, VBA, Python Equity Market interest Confident and good communicators, able to have constant dialogue with internal and external clients. Strong organizational skills, including the ability to coordinate, prioritize, and manage multiple activities.Teamwork and collaboration both within Tokyo, across the Asia region, and with global MS teams.
