The Purification Process Development group in the Mammalian Platform develops manufacturing processes for purification of therapeutic enzymes and antibodies from cell culture harvest and provides technical support to clinical and commercial downstream process operations.
Responsibilities for this position will include:
Conducting experiments using small-scale chromatography columns and filtration units to develop, characterize, and optimize new processes.
Perform analytical assays such as ELISA, HPLC, and SDS-PAGE.
On-the-job training will be provided as necessary to teach the technical skills required to perform duties.
The position will require interaction with multiple co-workers and functioning in a team environment, and the candidate should be able to organize and communicate ideas and results in a clear and concise manner.
