High School Social Studies Teacher {Long Term Substitute}
Freire Charter School Wilmington is currently seeking a High School Social Studies Teacher to cover a long term substitute assignment from January to March with high potential for a permanent role depending on qualifications of the candidate. Freire staff members are forward-thinking team players who are passionate about working with and unleashing the potential of urban youth. We seek candidates who value diversity, are highly motivated, and who will demand excellence from themselves and their students.
Qualifications
Successful candidates will have the following attributes:
At least 2 years of previous successful experience working with diverse student populationsAppropriate DE certification or willingness to pursue alternative certificationPositive attitude, sense of humor, and willingness to do whatever it takes to get a job doneAbility to work well individually and as part of a team
