　　PROPOSAL WRITER AND EDITOR

　　NTT DATA Americas, Inc., currently seeks a Proposal Writer and Editor to join our Public Sector Proposal Development Center. For this role, we are looking for someone with strong writing and editing skills who can help us tell NTT DATA's story effectively in every proposal we submit.

　　This Proposal Writer and Editor will support the development of proposals to federal, state, and local governments as well as to education organizations, serving as an integral part of the NTT DATA Public Sector proposal team. A successful candidate will develop original content for proposals and revise NTT DATA's standard content for proposals to meet the requirements of government solicitations. This individual will thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment-prioritizing tasks and balancing multiple assignments at times without a degradation in work quality.

　　Responsibilities will include:

　　Reading and analyzing requests for proposals (RFPs) and developing compliant and compelling proposal content based on this analysis. Reviewing and rewriting proposal inputs and coordinating with technical and sales personnel to maintain compliant and compelling messaging. Providing detailed editing of proposal sections. Collaborating as needed with subject matter experts (SMEs) to translate technical concepts into compelling written material that is compliant and of high quality. Adhering to established style guidelines and meeting all proposal deadlines. Supporting proposal operations by participating in proposal kickoffs and reviews, and by working closely with proposal managers, SMEs, graphics specialists, and production specialists to develop high-quality responses in a timely manner.

　　Required Experience and Qualifications

　　Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in government proposal writing Experience with public sector proposal development and processes A B.A. or B.S. degree from an accredited college or university in English, communications, or a related field Excellent organization skills and attention to detail Proficiency with Microsoft Office and SharePoint The ability to work independently and meet scheduled milestones Excellent writing and editing skills in American English

　　Additional Qualifications

　　Experience in the IT services industry (preferred) APMP- or Shipley-based training or experience (desired) Experience writing management plans as part of proposals to the federal government (preferred) Flexibility in adapting to deadlines, changing schedules, and priorities. Experience working as a team player in a deadline-driven environment
