The Workday Benefits Analyst is responsible for Workday functions relating to employee benefits including but not limited to benefit configuration, event set-up, data integrity, testing, report creation, employee benefit enrollment review and approval. This role is part of the benefits team but will also work closely with HRIS specialists on vendor integrations and other HCM functions. The Workday Benefits Analyst will act as liaison between the company and benefit carriers, union representatives and employees and will ensure compliance with all Federal and State regulations.
What Youll Do:
Act as the Subject Matter Expert within the Benefits application in WorkdaySet up and maintain all benefit configuration requirements including providers, groups, plans, event types, eligibility, rates, enrollment conditions, etc. as requiredTest all changes made in Workday by creating test scripts and reporting findings to the manager. This includes changes made within the bi-annual Workday release project and other configuration changes as requiredLead all benefit related set-up and maintenance of annual open enrollment, implementations, site start-ups, union requirements, etcReview and approve all benefit enrollment changes within Workday, including the review of supporting documentationCreate and maintain Benefits Learning Site in WorkdayCreate and maintain all new and existing reports in Workday to support SMEsWork with internal HRIS as well as benefit vendors to ensure all existing and new incoming and outgoing integrations are accurate and scheduled timelyCollaborate with team on questions relating to file integrityTroubleshoot all system issues relating to benefitsAct as SME when assisting employees with Workday related issues in the Benefits applicationAssist with all government required filings and plan testing to ensure complianceBack up other team members during periods of absenceOther duties as assignedSome travel may be requiredWhat Youll need:
