Overview
As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will contribute to the success of PepsiCo by supervising the day-to-day warehouse operations, with a focus on cost efficiency, continuous improvement on processes, service, and safety for an entire business unit across one shift. Our Warehouse Supervisors also coordinate the receiving, shipping, and material handling responsibilities in the warehouse by supporting the front line staff.
Responsibilities
Manage the receiving and delivery of raw materials/finished products in a timely mannerUtilize docks, warehouse layout, and route truck loading patterns that minimize loading timeEnsure the optimal inventory levels of full goods are maintained in order to fulfill daily sales needsProvide timely service to sales department while minimizing warehouse and production costsDevelop and motivate your team to solve day-to-day operational issues and reach short- and long-term performance goalsDeliver effective change leadership while driving business changes and minimizing people impactCommunicate and collaborate cross-functionallyBuild people capability through effective employee relations, hiring, training, and communication for front-line hourly personnelMaintain the inventory system to aid in production schedulingMaintain all housekeeping and safety standards and trainingIdentify and execute productivity opportunities to help facility meet annual operating planYou will have a regular presence on the plant floor and occasionally lift up to 40 lbsThis role may operate forklift and manufacturing equipment occasionallyYou may require off-shift and weekend work with some travel
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, preferably in engineering, business, operations management, or similar fieldTwo years of warehouse or logistics experience preferred with exposure to Lean Six SigmaYour experience with supervising front line staff in a performance-driven, challenging environmentMicrosoft Suite including Excel comprehension preferredStrong leadership skills with the ability to get results through mentoring others, effective coaching, leading a team-based approach to decision-makingThis position is limited to persons with indefinite right to work in the United StatesMust have a valid driver's licenseSafe driving record strongly preferred
Compensation & Benefits:
The expected compensation range for this position is between $62,700 - $104,850 based on a full-time scheduleLocation, confirmed job-related skills and experience will be considered in setting actual starting salaryBonus based on performance and eligibility; target payout is 8% of annual salary paid out annuallyPaid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavementIn addition to salary, PepsiCo offers a comprehensive benefits package to support our employees and their families, subject to elections and eligibility: Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, Health and Dependent Care Reimbursement Accounts, Employee Assistance Program (EAP), Insurance (Accident, Group Legal, Life), Defined Contribution Retirement Plan
