Position Overview:
This is 12 month FTC maternity cover role.
The VP International Compensation & Benefits will be a key member of the International Reward Team. Activities will focus on leading the LATAM, Asia & Poland C&B team as well as being responsible for Compensation Projects including the Harmonizing of International Compensation across the combined WBD organization.
This role will report to the GVP International Compensation & Benefits, leading a team of approximately 14. This role will form part of the International C&B leadership team and the Global TR SMT, inputting to the strategy for International and taking responsibility for driving benefit harmonization projects.
Responsibilities:
Provide leadership and expert guidance to the APAC, LATAM and Poland C&B teams, ensuring C&B priorities and initiatives are driven to successful completion in the regions and that the team provides expert partnership to People & Culture and the Business
Build strong relationships with People & Culture and Business Leaders and ensure our programs and plans support the attraction and retention of top talent
Partner with the Global Compensation Team to ensure design and delivery of global compensation programs support the attraction, retention and recognition of international employees
Responsible for managing all WBD Sales Plans in International and lead on Sales Plan harmonisation. Partner closely with leadership, finance, and P&C to ensure effective and efficient plans are in place
Lead on the development of new salary structures for International which support International needs and are sustainable to ensure we remain competitive
Support our total rewards strategy through developing / adapting compensation plans and guidelines that ensure our employees are paid fairly and WBD can attract and retain talent
Partner with the GVP International C&B and the VP International C&B for EMEA in providing leadership to the team and in driving the strategy on C&B initiatives
Create educational materials for International P&C on Compensation providing them with the tools to effectively support their Business Leaders and employees
Requirements:
Organization: Excellent planning and prioritization skills with proven ability to work with autonomy, multi-task and self-prioritize as needed, with a willingness to adapt quickly and pivot where priorities change
Delivery: Strong organizational skills with the ability to see the bigger picture and design processes and operating practices that minimize risk and drive efficiency. Pro-active approach to identifying new C&B projects and initiatives to implement the strategy and goals of the team
Knowledge: Broad experience of Compensation & Benefits with in-depth knowledge on Sales Plan Design, Job Architectures and Compensation Programs including the design and implementation of new plans
People Management: Experience managing a team, including resource planning and development
Communication: Strong communication skills that are clear and engaging, tailoring communication style effectively to your audience
Stakeholder Management: Excellent relationship and customer service skills exhibiting a high level of tact, diplomacy, managing conflict, and influence others
Collaboration: A global ‘one team’ mindset that fosters creativity in the team and to support collaborative working across the entire team with a willingness to both take a lead or support role as needed
Professionalism: Self-motivated and solution orientated, always displaying absolute discretion, best in class work, and working with confidentiality
