The Auto Network Repair Claim Representative is accountable for the timely completion of assigned auto damage appraisals. They will operate within claim standards to provide the most economical means of repair or replacement and at times work establish Total Loss values. Our candidate shall triage and utilize multiple estimating channel options in the assigned territory assuring that training, quality standards and customer service requirements are met. They will work on the reinspection of repaired vehicles and the assessment of repair costs. Additional accountabilities include: assessing the indemnity/expense exposure and provide outstanding customer service. This role requires the flexibility to travel when required, to attend meetings and catastrophe duty.
This position will be in MST or PST location / time zone
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Oversight of accurate and timely completion of assigned damage appraisals
Provide economical means of repair or replacement as needed while helping to establish total loss values and handling complaints
Triage and utilize multiple estimating channel options quickly and efficiently
Provide re-inspection of repaired vehicles and the assessment of repair cost
Properly assess the indemnity and expense exposures
Provide outstanding customer service while operating within a team environment and maintaining a continuous focus on self-development
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum of 2 years of prior damage estimating experience and Auto claim handling experience
Experience/background working in a prior service industry is a plus
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with customers building
Operate with integrity at all times to allow for trusted credible client interactions
Self-motivated and able to keep on task with minimal direct supervision
Must hold or be willing to acquire the applicable state's adjuster's license if required by the state
Flexibility to travel as needed to attend meetings and catastrophe duty
This role will have a Hybrid or Remote work arrangement. Candidates who live near one of our office locations (Hartford, CT, San Antonio, TX, Lake Mary, FL, Phoenix, AZ, Aurora, IL) will have the expectation of working in an office 3 days a week (Tuesday through Thursday). Candidates who do not live near an office will have a remote work arrangement, with the expectation of coming into an office as business needs arise.
Must be located in the Mountain or Pacific Time Zone
Candidate will complete a multi-week New Hire onboarding classes.

Compensation
The listed annualized base pay range is primarily based on analysis of similar positions in the external market. Actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to performance, proficiency and demonstration of competencies required for the role. The base pay is just one component of The Hartford’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term or annual bonuses, long-term incentives, and on-the-spot recognition. The annualized base pay range for this role is:
$57,760 - $86,640
