THE ROLE:
Bloomberg Media Studios is seeking a Video Producer Editor (Preditor) (6 Month Contract) who is collaborative, conceptual, strategic and an expert storyteller. The ideal candidate is a thoughtful video storyteller that pushes boundaries with an extensive background in "hands on production and post-production.

Conceive of storytelling ideas that merge to client business objectives with editorial principles Showcase your superior storytelling chops across a range of formats - social-first videos, short-form, animated, long-form documentary style and multi-wave episodic content - that match Bloomberg-owned media channels on TV, OTT, Digital, and Social Execute the creative vision (and make it your own!) across every step of the production process: writing, outlining, producing and editing Autonomously own a large project from kickoff to delivery, often balancing multiple projects at once Participate in proactive proposals and brainstorms that push the Studio's unique value for clients Collaborate with cross-functional team on implementation feasibility to ensure conceptual ideas are realizable Collaborate, multi-task and work efficiently under the pressure of deadlines
YOU NEED TO HAVE:
A stellar body of work, including work for Media, Finance, Technology and Luxury brands (personal work is also encouraged) 5 + years professional work experience in-house or working with experience as a producer and video editor Expertise in crafting branded storytelling and corresponding social promotional campaign Good presentation and time management skills Ability to explain abstract, complex or cutting-edge ideas in a straightforward way Proficiency working with Adobe Creative Suite and expert with edit software (Premiere) - After effects a plus An easy-going attitude, calm under pressure, client facing, and personable Ability to provide timely, helpful feedback to improve creative processes and to keep work on budget and schedule Please submit a link to your website/portfolio when applyingApply if you think we're a good match.
